Important information to move forward with our fight!
As you may be aware, our campaign to save Waltham Holy Cross is likely to involve taking legal action in the form of a Judicial Review. To help us raise funds for any potential action, and to demonstrate that we represent a large number of parents, we are going to become a constituted group; this means that we’ll agree a constitution and elect six people to act as a committee.
Once the committee is elected they’ll appoint four officer roles between them:
- Equality Officer
An additional 2 members will also be elected to represent the group and help the members with their specific roles.
If you would like to stand for the committee please let us know by completing this quick form.
NB – only parents/carers (as stated below) will be eligible to join the committee. General members of the public / union representatives / political parties are encouraged to support our cause but will not be able to join this committee as it is to be formed by parents to be the voice of the parents.
If we have more than six nominations we can either increase the size of the committee or hold elections at our meeting on scheduled to be held on Wednesday 29th August 2018 at The Crown Public House, Romelands, Waltham Abbey.
